It’s officially autumn

It’s finally here—the season I wait for all year. The air feels a little crisper, the leaves are turning golden, and my favourite cosy rituals are making their way back into everyday life. Autumn has a way of slowing us down, inviting us to enjoy the simple things: a hot drink, a soft blanket, and the warm flicker of candlelight.

For me, home is where autumn really comes alive. I love layering the sofa with throws, keeping the kettle busy, and of course, lighting a candle that fills the room with a scent that feels like autumn itself. There’s something so comforting about striking a match and watching that little flame glow—it makes the whole space feel instantly cosier.

This year, I’ve poured my love for the season into our handmade autumn candle collection. Each one is made with natural coconut wax, cotton wicks, and blended scents that I think truly capture the heart of autumn.

Here are some of my favourites right now:

🍎 Apple & Cinnamon – Sweet, spiced, and warming—just like baking an apple pie on a Sunday afternoon.

Pumpkin Spice – Because autumn wouldn’t feel complete without it.

🍫 Chocolate & Hazelnut – Rich and indulgent, perfect for curling up with a good film.

🌿 Lemongrass & Ginger – Fresh yet cosy, a lovely balance for breezy days.

🧣 Sweater Weather – Soft and comforting, like wrapping yourself in your favourite knit.

Lighting these candles feels like pressing pause. Whether I’m enjoying a slow morning with coffee or winding down in the evening, they remind me to make the moment special. That’s the beauty of autumn—it teaches us to find joy in the little things.

So here’s to the season of golden leaves, cosy nights, and handmade candles that make home feel extra warm and inviting. ✨

September To-Do List: Embracing the First Hints of Autumn

September To-Do List: Embracing the First Hints of Autumn

September feels like the doorway to autumn — cooler mornings, golden sunsets, and the first whispers of cosy nights in. It’s the perfect time to slow down, refresh your routines, and sprinkle a little seasonal magic into everyday life. Here’s a September to-do list to get you inspired:

🍁 1. Refresh Your Home for Autumn

Swap out summer scents and bring in warmer, comforting fragrances. My autumn collection is designed for this transition — light Pumpkin Spice in the evenings to fill your home with that nostalgic autumnal hug, or Sweater Weather on crisp mornings to set the mood for cosy routines.

🍫 2. Indulge in Autumn Flavours

Make time to bake or try new recipes inspired by the season. A chocolate loaf, hazelnut cookies, or even a hot chocolate evening pairs perfectly with my Chocolate & Hazelnuts candle for that warm, indulgent atmosphere.

🌿 3. Create a Self-Care Ritual

As days get shorter, self-care becomes more important. Run a warm bath, brew a herbal tea, and light Lemongrass & Ginger to boost your mood with its refreshing yet grounding aroma. It’s the ultimate way to recharge after a busy day.

🧣 4. Bring Out the Cosy Layers

Dig out your favourite sweaters, scarves, and blankets. Pair your wardrobe refresh with the comforting glow of Sweater Weather, the candle that feels like being wrapped in your softest knit.

🏞️ 5. Enjoy the Outdoors

September skies and crisp air are too beautiful to miss. Plan a countryside walk, visit a farmer’s market, or simply sit outside with a warm drink. Come home and light Pumpkin Spice to keep the autumn magic going indoors.

✨ 6. Set Intentions for the Season

September is often seen as a “second January” — a fresh start after summer. Journal your goals, start a new routine, or declutter your space. Lighting a candle while writing (my pick: Lemongrass & Ginger) helps set the tone for clarity and focus.
